Recreation & Wellness Program Fund
Don't let fees get in the way!
The purpose of the Recreation & Wellness (RecWell) Program Fund is to provide financial support for GVSU students to access various programs, services, and professional development opportunities that require fees within the Recreation & Wellness department (limit $100 per academic year).
Please note, this fund does not cover any membership dues for registered student organizations supported by Recreation & Wellness (Club Sports, Esports, Vertical Earth).
We understand fees can be a barrier to experience our programs. This fund exists to help get more students involved in what we do!
Any currently enrolled GVSU undergraduate or graduate students are eligible.

What Recipients Are Saying...
"Receiving support from the RecWell Program Fund has been incredibly impactful during my time as a graduate student studying occupational therapy. In undergrad, I enjoyed participating in group fitness classes, which were a great way to take care of myself both physically and mentally. However, graduate school comes with high tuition costs and limited time to work, making it challenging to prioritize non-essential expenses like fitness programs.
Thanks to the support from this fund, I’ve been able to continue exercising, in a fun way alongside other students, without the added stress of financial strain. Staying active has helped me improve my focus, boost my motivation and self-esteem, and enhance my overall quality of life and performance in the classroom. I’m so grateful for this opportunity — it’s made a meaningful difference during this demanding phase of my education."
